Livanova Vera Matveevna (1910-1998).

Soviet decorative artist, painter, easel graphic artist, poster artist. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR (1938). Author of the first poster that proclaimed the defeat of Nazi Germany. In 1923-1924 Vera Livanova was accepted into his studio by T.L. Sukhotina-Tolstaya. In 1926 he entered the Moscow State Academic Art School in Memory of 1905 (MAKhU). In 1928-1930 he studied at the VKHUTEIN (Leningrad Higher Art and Technical Institute) in the theater department. Its teachers are the masters of pre-war Soviet art Bruni, Lev Alexandrovich, Gerasimov, Sergei Vasilyevich, Konchalovsky, Pyotr Petrovich, I. I. Rabinovich. As a poster artist, Livanova is greatly influenced by famous artists of the early Soviet period A.A. Deineka, Yu.I. Pimenov, Yu. Ivanovich, V.E. Tatlin. In 1931-1932 he created film posters commissioned by Intourist. In 1932 he worked as a graphic artist in Perm at the All-Union Chamber of Commerce. From 1937-1968 he worked for the IZOGIZ and Soviet Artist publishing houses. In the period from 1958 to 1968, she carried out orders for Agitplakat. Since 1938 he has been actively participating in exhibitions. The artist's works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, and the Pushkin Museum. Pushkin, in the Perm Art Gallery, as well as in a number of museums abroad and private collections.
