Lobanov Sergey Ivanovich

Famous Russian artist, one of the masters of the first avant-garde association “Jack of Diamonds”, his membership card No. 8, a major museum worker. He studied at the Alexander Commercial School (1900-1907), in the studio of A.N. Mikhailovsky and F.I. Rerberg (1906-1907), at the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture (1907-1913), first in the class of S.V. Ivanova, L.O. Pasternak, N.A. Kasatkina, then in the workshop of K.A. Korovin and S.V. Malyutina. At the same time he studied in the studio of I.I. Mashkova (1906-1913). Participant in the exhibitions “Jack of Diamonds” (1910, 1912), “Free Creativity”, “World of Art” (1916, 1921), “Moscow Salon” (1917, 1920), “4 Arts” (1926), member of the “Fire of Color” society (1923-1929).
