Schedule. Studied at the St. Petersburg Institute of Civil Engineers. Published drawings in the magazines “Argus”, “Sun of Russia”, “Satyricon”, “Capital and Estate”; made drawings of advertisements. After 1917, he painted propaganda posters in Saratov. In 1918, he taught graphics at the Saratov Central Studio and at the same time had his own graphics workshop. In 1920 he worked in the political department of the Reserve Army. Then he moved to Rostov-on-Don, where he painted scenery for village theaters, decorated the city for the holidays, and worked as a decorator at the Sorin Interlude Theater. In 1922 he moved to Moscow, where he again worked as an illustrator.
