Luginina-Volkonskaya Maria Vladimirovna (1875, Moscow -1960).

Author of secular portraits and landscapes. Born in Moscow. The wife of Prince A. Volkonsky, the mother of the artist P. Volkonsky. She studied at MUZHVZ and attended the Grand Chaumiere Academy in Paris. She took part in the Spring exhibitions in the halls of the Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg, the salons of the National Association of Fine Arts and the Tuileries in Paris (1910s). Since 1917 she lived and worked permanently in France.
