He graduated from the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture in 1917 with the title of artist of the first degree and the right to retire abroad. Studied with N. Kasatkin, A. Arkhipov, A. Vasnetsov, K.A. Korovina. From 1918 to 1923 worked in Slobodskoye, where he organized a museum and an art studio. Since 1923 he lived and worked in Moscow, taught graphic arts at a military school for command personnel. Member and exhibitor of all exhibitions of the Academy of Artists and Artists of the USSR, exhibitions of the Union of Artists of the USSR. The artist’s works are in the State Russian Museum and in art galleries in many cities in Russia and abroad.
