Lyushin Vladimir Ivanovich

Lyushin Vladimir Ivanovich (1898-1970).

One of the founding fathers of OST. He received his artistic education in the art and craft workshops of the Moscow Stroganov School, where he began studying in 1913. After the Stroganov School was transformed into the Free State Workshops in 1919, he began working in the workshop of A. V. Lentulov. In 1924 he graduated from the Vkhutein in the workshop of D. P. Shterenberg. Participant of the 1st discussion exhibition and OST exhibitions. He was a member of the art society “Izobrigada.” The author’s works are in the collection of the State Tretyakov Gallery.
