Makarov Alexey Ivanovich (1913-1992).

Painter. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Honored Artist of the RSFSR. Honored Artist of Russia. Born in the village of Staroe Tomyshevo, Ulyanovsk region. He studied at the Penza Art School, graduated from I.E. IZhSA. Repin (workshop of S.V. Gerasimov, 1943). Member of the Union of Artists. He was a participant in numerous major exhibitions in our country and abroad. Particularly significant are the All-Union Exhibition of 1947 and “Soviet Russia” of 1960, held in Moscow. Makarov's works were exhibited in Germany (1991), France (1993), Italy (1995). Solo exhibitions (1973, 1985, 1993).
