Soviet artist, worked in the genres of easel painting, book graphics, sculpture. Honored Artist of Russia. In 1946-1949 he studied at the Gorky Art School. In 1955 he graduated from the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography (VGIK). Worked at Mosfilm. Since 1955, he took part in regional, zonal, republican and union exhibitions. In 1980-1985 he taught at the Gorky Art School. The author's works are presented in the Nizhny Novgorod Art Museum, in many regional museums of Russia, as well as in private collections.
