Malyutin Sergey Vasilievich

Painter, portraitist, genre painter. In 1914 he received the title of Academician. Honored Artist of the RSFSR. Member of the World of Art association. Member and one of the organizers of the AHRR (1922). From 1883-1886 studied at MUZHVZ with I.M. Pryanishnikova, V.E. Makovsky. In 1886 he received a small silver medal. In 1891-1893 taught drawing at the Moscow Elizabethan Institute. In the 1890s. artist of the Russian private opera S.I. Mamontova. In 1900-1903 worked in Talashkino with M.K. Tenisheva. From 1903-1917 taught at MUZHVZ. Teacher at GSKHM-VKHUTEMAS (1918-1923). He worked in the field of book graphics, decorative and theatrical art.
