Mane–Katz Mane Lazarevich

Painter. He studied at the Vilna and Kyiv art schools. He studied in various studios in Paris. From 1914 to 1921 he lived and worked in Petrograd and Kharkov. He studied at the New Art Workshop with M.V. Dobuzhinsky. Participant of exhibitions since 1916. He was a member of avant-garde groups (“Group of Three”, “Union of Seven”). In 1921 he emigrated to Berlin. The works are kept in many museums around the world.
