Manich Vladimir

Born in Belgrade, Serbia in 1957. In 1981 he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and then in 1983 a Master of Science degree in art restoration from the University of Belgrade. The artist later went on to refine his skills in painting, drawing and sculpture at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris, in traditional iconography and fresco techniques at the Hilandar Monastery on Mount Athos in Greece, and in the art of restoration and conservation of historical and artistic works at the Institute for Conservation and Restoration in Florence, Italy. For more than 26 years, Vladimir Manich lived, worked and taught in America. Vladimir Manich is a member of the Swedish Fine Arts Society, which is supported by the Swedish royal family. Vladimir Manich is a member of the Institute of Conservation and Restoration, USA. Vladimir Manich's works are in private collections and galleries in America, Europe and Russia.
