Mariupolsky Vyacheslav Mineevich

Soviet painter. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Laureate of the USSR State Prize (1950). In the early 1920s he studied at the art and industrial school in Omsk, then in 1925-1930. at VKHUTEIN with S. Gerasimov, B. Ioganson, S. Chuikov. In 1925 he was one of the organizers of the Vladivostok branch of the Association of Artists of Revolutionary Russia. In 1941-1945. worked at TASS Windows of the Omsk Union of Artists. He performed satirical, social, military-political posters, paintings on an anti-war theme. The author's works are in many regional museums and private collections.
