Markelova Iraida Vasilyevna

Honored Artist of Russia, sculptor and graphic artist. In 1950, she graduated from the Moscow Higher School of Art and Industry. Since the 1950s‑ she has actively participated in exhibitions. In 1954, she worked in the workshop of S. T. Konenkov. Participated in the design of the main pavilion of the VSHV and the building of the Leningrad Hotel. The works are represented in the State Russian Museum, the S. A. Yesenin Museum, as well as in other museum collections and private collections, including collections of regional art museums and collections related to the history of Soviet monumental and decorative art.
