Soviet photographer, photojournalist for the All-Union TASS news agency. Honorary member of the Union of Photographers of Russia. Since 1926 he worked for the magazine Smena. In 1938 he was invited to the TASS agency. His photographs were published in the magazine “USSR at Construction”. During the war, he was a photojournalist for the newspaper Slovo Botsa. After the war, he worked as a photojournalist for the Krasnoarmeyskaya Illustrated Newspaper. In the 1950s he worked for the magazine “Club and Amateur Arts.” Participated in many Soviet and foreign photo exhibitions.
