She studied at the Kiev Art School until 1905, at the Academy of Arts (until 1907). Lived and worked in Moscow. Exhibited with the creative association “4 Arts”. She took part in Moscow and all-Union exhibitions. She was married to the sculptor Alexander Matveev. The master's works are presented at the State Russian Museum.
