Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1981), Laureate of the USSR State Prize (1975), Laureate of the International Anderson Prize. In 1922-1929. studied at VKHUTEMAS/VKHUTEIN under R.R. Falka. She was a member of the Thirteen group (1929-1931). She worked a lot as a book artist (designing Pushkin’s children’s books “The Tale of the Dead Princess and the Seven Knights”, 1949; “Ruslan and Lyudmila”, 1960; “At the Lukomorye”, 1961, as well as collections - “At the Command of the Pike”, 1958; “Russian Fairy Tales”, 1963), and was engaged in color lithography. The artist’s works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, the Museum of Personal Collections, in many regional museums, as well as in private collections in Russia and abroad.
