Mayofis Grigory Mikhailovich

In 1986 - 1989 he studied at the Leningrad State Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after. I.E. Repin (Academy of Arts). Studied in I. Gurin's studio. From 1991 to 1996 he lived in the USA. Since 1999 he began working with photography and video techniques. Participant of numerous photo festivals around the world. In 2006 he was awarded the Betty and Jim Kasson award, USA. Lives in St. Petersburg. Works are in the Slovak National Gallery (Bratislava, Slovakia), the Museum of Fine Arts (Houston, USA), the LACMA Museum of Art (Los Angeles, USA), the Museum of Art (Santa Barbara, USA), the State Russian Museum, numerous regional museums in Russia, and in private collections around the world.
