Mazanov Anatoly Mikhailovich

Honored Artist of the RSFSR. Theater artist, actor. He studied at the school of painting and sculpture under M. Saryan, B. Rich, and at the drama studio of the Don Philharmonic. He worked in theaters of Little Russia. Since 1929, he was engaged in decorative design work, creating sketches of scenery, costumes, and makeup. Since 1935 he worked at the Gorky Opera and Ballet Theater named after. A.S. Pushkin, where he designed more than a hundred performances. He collaborated with the Academic Bolshoi Theater (1946, G.N. Rimsky-Korsakov, “May Night”), with the Leningrad Drama Theater. Lensovet, with the Leningrad Academic Maly Opera Theater, with the Chelyabinsk Opera and Ballet Theater and others.
