The artist was born in Moscow. In 1979, he completed his studies at the Moscow Art College in Memory of 1905. He works in the author's direction, which he defines as a "picturesque Hoffmaniade". His works are regularly presented at Russian and international auctions; in the 1980s and 1990s, several works were sold at Sotheby's and MacDougall's auctions. Since 1987, he has been involved in exhibition projects. The artist's paintings are in the collection of Marat Gelman (Moscow), as well as in private collections in Russia, Denmark and Finland.
