Mensted Peder Mork

Mensted Peder Mork (1859, Denmark – 1941, Denmark).

In 1875-1876 studied at the Copenhagen Academy of Arts with A. Fritz, J. Exner, N. Simonsen. Later he studied in the workshop of Adolphe-William Bouguereau in Paris. Throughout his life he traveled a lot, repeatedly visiting Italy, Switzerland, France, and the Middle East. He regularly exhibited his works in Charlottenburg (Copenhagen) and participated in salons in Paris and Munich. Mensted's works are in the Aalborg Art Museum (Denmark), the Museum of Danish Art in Randers, the Bautzen Art Museum (Germany), as well as in private collections.
