Academician, professor of landscape painting. He studied at the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts (1854 - 1857) in the classes of F. Bruni and S. Vorobyov. P. Tretyakov bought the master’s landscapes. The artist’s works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, State Russian Museum.
