Mikhailov Alexander Mikhailovich

Honored Artist of the RSFSR. Painter. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Born in Moscow. In 1927-30 studied at the Moscow State College of Fine Arts in memory of the 1905 uprising. Graduated from the Art and Graphic Faculty of Moscow State Pedagogical Institute. In 1956 he was admitted to the Union of Artists of the USSR. He taught watercolors at the Painting and Graphics Faculty of the Moscow Pedagogical Institute, and taught watercolor classes at the Moscow Secondary Art School of the USSR Academy of Arts. Among his students are S. Andriyaka, A. Sidorov, V. Glebov. Throughout his work, the artist constantly changes his painting technique, choosing either oil or watercolor.
