Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (1996). Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR (since 1967). In 1959 he graduated from the pedagogical department of the Moscow Regional Art School “In Memory of 1905”, and also studied at the easel painting department of the Moscow State Art Institute. V.I. Surikov. His works are in the Royal Academy of Arts in London, as well as in the collections of art museums in Krasnoyarsk, Murmansk, Novgorod.
