Miloradovich Sergei Dmitrievich (1851-1943).

Russian historical and genre painter, teacher, academician of the Imperial Academy of Arts (since 1909), member of the Association of Traveling Art Exhibitions. He studied at the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture in 1874-1878 under E. S. Sorokin, V. G. Perov and I. M. Pryanishnikov; previously, in 1861-1872, he studied at the seminary. Participated in exhibitions of the Association of Peredvizhniki from 1885 to 1923 (intermittently, member since 1894), exhibitions of the Moscow Society of Art Lovers (1887-1911, intermittently; member since 1900), as well as at the All-Russian Industrial and Agricultural Exhibition in Nizhny Novgorod (1896), the 2nd International Art Exhibition in Venice (1897), the World Exhibition in Paris (1900), exhibitions of the AHRR (1926) and the Association of Realist Artists (1927-1928) in Moscow. Miloradovich's works are represented in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, the State Museum of the History of Religion, as well as in many regional museums. The works are kept in private collections in Russia and abroad.
