In 1943 he entered the Textile Institute in Moscow, where he studied with A. Kuprin and V. Eiges. Thanks to Kuprin, Monoszon joined the pictorial traditions of the "Jack of Diamonds", and with the help of Eiges - to the Jewish pictorial tradition. He became one of the representatives of the diaspora of “Russian Jewish artists”, which developed the traditions of the school of Yu.M. Pan and M.Z. Chagall, combining the real and fantastic worlds, stories drawn from the Torah, and modernity. Since 1949, Monoszon has been an active participant in Moscow city and All-Union exhibitions. Exhibited with such artists as M.P. Konchalovsky, P.P. Sokolov-Skalya, P.A. Rodimov, N.A. Sokolov, G.G. Nyssa. His paintings are in private collections in Russia, France, USA, Italy and Israel.
