Soviet graphic artist; illustrator, cartoonist, poster artist. Honored Artist of the RSFSR. Since 1942, Anatoly Gerasimovich participated in the Great Patriotic War with the rank of junior lieutenant. Awarded the Order of the Patriotic War, 1st degree. Participated in the release of propaganda posters “TASS Windows” in the city of Chita. The following artists worked with Mosin at TASS Windows: D. I. Ivanov, G. Toloknin, V. I. Polikarpov, L. Gruzdev, M. Otarov; text authors: I. S. Lugovskoy, V. Shegov, O. A. Khavkin, I. Molchanov-Sibirsky and others. During the war years, artists produced 427 titles of posters, organized two exhibitions of painting and graphics, three exhibitions of propaganda posters, one of them traveling. After the war, he studied and graduated from the Rostov Art School named after M. B. Grekov. Creative life was connected with the Rostov book publishing house. In 1960, it published “Alice in Wonderland” by Lewis Carroll, illustrated by Anatoly Mosin. Also, he illustrated the story “The Enchanted Wanderer” by N. S. Leskov (1954), the novel “Walking in Torment” by A. N. Tolstoy (1967), the poem “Vasily Terkin” by A. T. Tvardovsky (1967), the story “Childhood” by Maxim Gorky (1969). In the association he worked together with artists R. S. Shutenko, D. M. Paluy, A. A. Mardirosov and others. Graphic works and posters by A. G. Mosin are in the Russian State Library (RSL), Rostov Regional Museum of Fine Arts, Salsk Art Museum named after V. K. Nechitailo, Museum of Contemporary Fine Arts in Rostov-on-Don, Taganrog Art Museum museum, Yaroslavl State Historical and Architectural Art Museum-Reserve, in the collections of the National Library of Belarus.
