Mukoseeva Margarita

Mukoseeva Margarita

Artist Margarita Mukoseeva, member of the Moscow Union of Artists since 1953. Graduated from the State Art Institute. Surikov in 1956, theater department. The artist herself believes that she was lucky to study with Professor M. I. Kurilko, who headed this department for many years. Professor M.I. Kurilko is one of those rare people and teachers who does not teach students their own achievements, but tries to introduce them to the world of multifaceted art, which is around us today, which is behind us and is becoming a thing of the past, which is ahead, where the cosmos glimmers, and which will remain as long as a person lives. Margarita Mukoseeva has been working in theaters almost all her life. These are musical, dramatic, children's, and variety theaters in Moscow, Leningrad, Orenburg, Perm, Saratov, Omsk, Chisinau, Volgograd. She is a participant in all Moscow, Zonal, All-Union and many international exhibitions; at first she exhibited only theatrical sketches of scenery and costumes, but since the 70s, her paintings began to appear at exhibitions, which did not go unnoticed by viewers and art critics. The first personal exhibition was held in 1976, the second in 1988 in Moscow, and both were successful. Most of the theatrical and painting works were transferred to museums in Moscow and other Russian cities. Some of the works were sold at auctions in America, Germany, and France. The artist herself says this about her work: “I’ll probably never get rid of the theatrical approach to painting, and I don’t want to. It’s comforting to think that this is not the worst path in art if the artist has something to say.” For many years M. Mukoseeva has been working on portraits and compositional Fantasies. This includes painting and drawings. The bulk of these works are in private collections in America, Germany, Poland, Yugoslavia, and France. She does not neglect landscapes and still lifes. One thing is certain - her work is highly professional, the Moscow school of painting and its thoroughness are clearly visible. At the same time, the artist M. Mukoseeva is always original, emotional and often mysterious in her paintings, which does not leave the audience indifferent.
