Muratov Nikolay Evgenievich

Schedule. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Graduated from the Leningrad Art and Industrial College. The artist's first publications in newspapers and magazines appeared in the 1920s. One of the organizers of the creative association "Combat Pencil". Already in the 1930s he became known as a satirist artist. He actively collaborated as a cartoonist in newspapers and magazines “Rezec”, “Young Proletarian”, “Chizh”, “Cannon”, “Behemoth”, “Smena”, “Literary Leningrad”, “Lenin Sparks”, and designed children’s books. Muratov's drawings for children were highly appreciated by the best children's book artists of the Leningrad school.
