Born in Paris in 1917 into a family of Catalan immigrants who returned to Barcelona in 1922. Studied at the art school of Barcelona. In 1945, K. Nadal went to Paris, where he met P. Picasso, and also participated in numerous exhibitions. Later he lived in Brussels. His first solo exhibition was held in Barcelona at the La Pinacoteca gallery in 1944. His works have been widely exhibited in Spain, Belgium, and France. In these countries, the artist received many prizes, including the ‘Grand Premio de Spa’ of Belgium. He received the title of Fellow of the Royal Academy of London. His work was largely influenced by the work of the French neo-impressionists and the Fauvist Raoul Dufy.
