Naroditsky Lev Iosifovich

Honored Artist of the USSR. Born in 1913 in Mariupol. Died in 1977 in Moscow. Participant of the Great Patriotic War (two Orders of the Red Star). Graduated from the Moscow State Art Institute. V. I. Surikov (1948) after the workshop of G. M. Shegal and S. V. Gerasimov. Author of paintings on military-patriotic themes. Member of the Moscow Union of Soviet Artists since 1948. Participant of art exhibitions since 1946. Main works: “Storm of Parliament in Vienna” (1946), “First Born” (1949), “In Hours of Rest” (1952), “In 1941” (1967), “In Stalingrad” (1969), “To the Southern Front” (1969), “Let’s Smoke” (1970), “Von Paulus and Others” (1970). "Anxiety" (1975). The works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery and many other regional museums of Russia.
