Nedbaylo Mikhail Ivanovich

Nedbaylo Mikhail Ivanovich (1901, Rostov-on-Don -1943, Belarus).

Painter, watercolorist. Author of landscapes and thematic compositions. He worked as a poster artist and book illustrator. Participant in the Civil War. From 1922 he lived in Moscow. He studied at the Proletkult art studio (1922 - 1923) with V. D. Falileev: at VKHUTEMAS-VKHUTEIN (1923 - 1927) with P. V. Kuznetsov and R. R. Falk. In 1925, he visited Paris with a group of VHUTEIN students. One of the organizers of the art society "Rost": participant in exhibitions of this association (1928 - 1929) and other exhibitions in the USSR and abroad: member of the group "13". His personal exhibition was held in Moscow (1934). He worked as an illustrator for the publishing house "Young Guard" and as a poster artist for TASS Windows (1941). He taught at the Yaroslavl Art and Pedagogical College (1928). In 1935, he was on a creative trip to Crimea (pioneer camp "Artek"). Participant of the Great Patriotic War. Died in Belarus on October 14, 1943.
