Neklyudov Boris Pavlovich

Soviet and Russian muralist, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Arts (2009), professor, member of the Union of Artists of the USSR since 1964, later a member of the Union of Artists of Russia. In 1962, he graduated from the Moscow Higher Industrial Art College (formerly Stroganov) with a degree in monumental decorative painting, where his teachers were S. V. Gerasimov, N. H. Maksimov and B. V. Iordansky. Since 1964, Neklyudov has actively participated in exhibitions, both All—Union, republican and Moscow, as well as in group exhibitions of the Moscow Union of Artists. He has repeatedly organized solo exhibitions, including at the Moscow State Agricultural University. Stroganov (1997, 1999), the Golden Ring Gallery (1998), the hall of the Ministry of Agriculture on Kuznetsky Bridge (1998, 2008). In 2018, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the artist's birth, an exhibition in his memory was held at the "Photo Center".The artist specialized in monumental decorative works in a variety of techniques: Florentine mosaics, stained glass, sgraffito, tempera painting and others.Among his significant works is a large-scale Florentine mosaic in the Cathedral hall of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. — "Descent of the Holy Spirit on the Apostles", "Heavenly City", "Earthly City" (2000, with a total area of 800 m2).Boris Neklyudov's easel works are represented in the collections of the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Shchusev Museum of Architecture and the Museum of Modern History of Russia (formerly the Museum of the Revolution), and are also in private collections in Russia and abroad.
