Nekrasov Vladimir Ilyich

Honored Artist of the RSFSR. Diploma holder of the Academy of Arts of the USSR, the Union of Artists of the RSFSR, the Moscow Union of Artists. In 1938 he entered the Moscow Art School in memory of 1905, where he studied with V.N. Baksheeva. During the Great Patriotic War, he fought on the 2nd Ukrainian Front, was an artilleryman, and commander of an anti-aircraft battery. He was awarded orders and medals: Order of the Patriotic War, II degree, medals “For Military Merit”, “For Valiant Labor”, etc. In 1953 he graduated from the Moscow State Institute. V.I. Surikov in the workshop of Professor D.K. Mochalsky. For a long time he headed the department of drawing at the Moscow State Art Institute. V.I. Surikova, professor. The result of creative trips to Altai, Kazakhstan, Burma, Italy, Spain were the following paintings: “Wedding on the Virgin Lands” (1957), “Virgin Lands” (1973), “At the Well. Women of Burma" (1976), "In the Virgin Lands" (1982), a series of works "Across Italy" (1976–1982), etc. Personal exhibitions of Vladimir Nekrasov were held in Moscow (1979) and Springville (USA, 1990). The works are stored in art museums in Almaty, Omsk and other Russian cities.
