Poster artist, illustrator, painter. Member of the USSR Union of Artists (since 1969 member of the Moscow Union of Artists). Honored Artist of Russia. In 1965 he graduated from Moscow State Art Institute. V.I. Surikov, studied in the poster workshop with N.A. Ponomareva, O.M. Savostyuk, B.A. Uspensky. He is engaged in socio-political and theatrical posters. He collaborated with the publishing houses “Plakat” and “Soviet Artist”, and the creative workshop of the USSR Union of Artists “Agitplakat”. Works fruitfully in book graphics. Since 1965, he has participated in republican, all-Union, and foreign art exhibitions (Vietnam, Cuba, Poland, France, Japan). From 1991 to 2004 he lived and worked in Mexico, collaborating with the largest publishing houses in this country. In 1992 he was awarded the Prize of the Cultural Council of the Mexican Government and the National Antonio Robles Prize for Book Illustrations.
