Academician of the Prague Academy of Arts (since 1945). Painter, graphic artist. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. He studied at the Gorky Art School (1937-1941). He worked in the field of landscape, portrait, easel and book graphics. Since 1939, he has been a regular participant in regional exhibitions, an exhibitor of zonal (“Big Volga”, 1964), republican (Moscow, 1951, 1955, 1957), all-Union (Moscow, 1957) art exhibitions. Personal exhibition of A.P. Nikiforova graduated from Gorky in 1965. He taught at the Gorky Art School from 1946 to 1948. The artist’s works are in the Nizhny Novgorod Museum of Fine Arts, in many regional museums, in private collections in Russia and abroad.
