Graduated from the Faculty of Monumental and Decorative Painting of the Leningrad Higher Art Pedagogical University named after. V. Mukhina in 1955. Member of the Leningrad Union of Artists. He was engaged in the restoration of monumental and decorative painting. He participated in exhibitions as an easel artist, painted genre paintings, portraits, landscapes, and still lifes. His works are kept in art museums and private collections in Russia and abroad.
