In 1976 he entered and in 1980 graduated from the Art College. I. Repin. In 1981 he entered the Moscow State Academic Art Institute named after V.I. Surikov, where he studied in the workshops of Yuri Korolev and Tair Salakhov. In 1984 he became a member of the artistic group "ARX". In 1988, a personal exhibition in the exhibition hall of the Hermitage Garden. In 1993, a personal retrospective exhibition at the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow.
