Ovchinnikov Nikola (1958, Moscow).

In 1978 he graduated from the Moscow Art School “In Memory of 1905” in 1978. Since 1978 he worked as a set designer in theaters of the USSR. Participates in exhibitions since 1982. In 1986 – 1988 – member of the group “Central Russian Upland”. Participant of the Venice Biennale (1990). From 1989 to 1993 he lived in Paris. Since 1993 he has lived in Moscow. Works are in the Ludwig Forum for Contemporary Art (Aachen, Germany), the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, the Catherine Cultural Foundation, ART4.RU, and private collections.
