Pashinin Mikhail Grigorievich (1921-1996).

Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Honored Artist of the RSFSR. Representative of the galaxy of leading artists of the Fedoskino craft. Author of a number of iconic lacquer miniature subjects, as well as magnificent portraits of prominent political and cultural figures, cosmonauts, heroes of the 1917 revolution, etc. Author of a number of iconic lacquer miniature subjects, such as “The Snow Maiden”, “Stone Flower”, “Lel”. The artist was one of the best portrait painters of the Fedoskino lacquer miniature industry. By order of the USSR government, he was entrusted with the execution of portraits of prominent political figures, ambassadors of foreign states, kings, scientists and artists. Pencil sketches for some of the portraits were preserved in the family archive and are presented at the exhibition. Among them is a unique sketch for a family portrait of Queen Elizabeth II of England. The original work is kept in the Queen's family.
