Studied with A. Murashko. He took part in Kyiv exhibitions: the "Ring" group (1914), the Kyiv Society of Artists (since 1916 he was a member of the society), the Society of Ukrainian Plastic Arts (1918). In 1920 he settled in the Kingdom of the SHS (Serbs, Croats and Slovenes). He studied at the Academy of Arts in Zagreb with Professor G. Vanka. He painted still lifes, portraits, landscapes and multi-figure compositions. He painted portraits of King Alexander and members of the royal family. He took part in the Exhibition of the Association of Russian Artists in the Kingdom of the CXC (1928) and the Great Exhibition of Russian Art in Belgrade (1930). Exhibited works in Zagreb, Ljubljana, Rome (1927) and Paris (salon of the Society of French Artists (1928); gallery G. Petit (1932) Charpentier (1937), Bosc (1948, 1950), Durand-Ruel (1951, 1952, 1955), regularly exhibited works at the Autumn and Tuileries Salons). The works were acquired by museums in Zagreb and Belgrade. In 1937 he settled in Paris, where he held a number of personal exhibitions. At this time, he created many beautiful portraits of famous people of that time: actors, writers, members of the royal families of Europe. Among his customers were K. Gable, G. Dietrich, the E. Remarque family, K. Chanel and others. In the 1960s he moved to London. He took part in group exhibitions in London and New York. The works are stored in the Museum of Contemporary Art in Madrid, GM Belgrade, New York, etc.
