Penushkin Yuri Ivanovich (1935 - 2021) Member of the Union of Artists (St. Petersburg). Graduated from the School of Fine Arts in Leningrad (workshop of Professor A.A. Mylnikov), Leningrad Academy of Arts. Since the 1970s, he has participated in collective exhibitions, including in Germany, Finland, etc. In 1978, he held personal exhibitions in Leningrad at the House of Journalists and at the Union of Artists. Since 1991 he has presented his works in France (Autumn Salon). Participated in the II International Salon in Nantes (1992, 1993), in the Art Viva gallery in Levallois Perret (near Paris) (1993, 1994, 1997), in the Russian Cultural Center named after A.S. Pushkin (1994, 1997), at the Center of Culture in Montpellier (department of Hérault), etc. He held personal exhibitions at the Ressort de la Créativité gallery (Paris, 1992), at the Art Viva gallery in Levallois Perret (near Paris) (1995), at the Espace Saint Martin gallery in Cognac (department of Charente) (2004), at Villa Daumier (dep. Val-d'Oise) (2005). In 2009, a personal exhibition of works was held in Manege (St. Petersburg). A regular participant in thematic exhibitions at the State Russian Museum (“Soviet Venus”, etc.). The paintings are in museums in St. Petersburg, Orel, Sverdlovsk, Kharkov, Baku, Tallinn, Vilnius, etc., as well as in private collections, including in France. Gusterina Larisa Georgievna (born 1943) Artist. Graduated from the Institute of Theatre, Music and Cinematography (class of Professor N.P. Akimov) in Leningrad. Member of the Union of Artists of St. Petersburg and Paris. Works were exhibited in Italy, Germany, and the USA. She was awarded an Honorary Diploma, medal and prize in St. Petersburg (1985), a Silver Medal and Knighthood in Belgium (1992), and the Baron Tylor Prize (Paris, 2000). In September 2009, the Manege Central Exhibition Hall (St. Petersburg) hosted a large-scale exhibition of paintings and graphics “OPEN TIME”, where the works of Larisa Gusterina were exhibited next to the paintings of her husband, painter Yuri Penushkin.
