In 1957 he moved to Moscow. In 1959 he entered and in 1963 he graduated from the Moscow Regional Art School “In Memory of 1905”. From 1963 to 1969 he studied at the Moscow State Art Institute. V.I. Surikov at the Faculty of Painting under V.G. Tsyplakova (thesis “Miners. Shift” was defended with a “C-minus”). Since 1965 he has been participating in exhibitions. Since 1971 - member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. 1988 – grant from Graphicstudio, Tampa, Florida, USA. Lives in Moscow.
