In 1975 he graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after I. E. Repin (Faculty of Painting, workshop of A. A. Mylnikov). Since 1975 - participant of exhibitions in Russia and abroad. The artist’s works are kept in the State Russian Museum, the Anna Akhmatova Museum in the Fountain House, as well as in private collections in Russia, Germany, Denmark, Italy, France, Finland, Sweden and the USA.
