Artist. From 1933 to 1941 he worked as a graphic designer in Gorkomizo. At the same time, he worked creatively mainly in the genre of landscape. In the second half of the 1930s, Boris Petrov participated in a number of exhibitions of Leningrad artists, where he exhibited 17 landscapes. He worked as an artist in Lenizo, in the creative group of the Painting and Design Art Plant of the Leningrad Philosophy of the RSFSR. In 1960, based on the results of exhibitions, he was accepted as a candidate member of the Leningrad Union of Artists, and in 1965 he was transferred to the membership of the Leningrad Union of Artists. Exhibitions of the artist’s works took place in 1960 in Nalchik, in 1963 (Lensovet House of Culture) and 1975 (Gaz House of Culture) in Leningrad. They were covered by newspapers, stories about the 1963 exhibition were shown on Leningrad (May 11, 1963) and Central (May 20, 1963) television. The artist's works are in museums and private collections in Russia, Japan and other countries.
