Petrov Vladimir Konstantinovich (1880-1935)

Painter. In 1911–1914 he studied at the Tiflis Art School under N.V. Sklifosovsky. Studying was interrupted by the First World War. In 1920 he was evacuated to Turkey, ended up in an English refugee camp in Tuzla, then settled in Constantinople. He painted architectural landscapes. He loved to depict the Hagia Sophia Cathedral and its interiors.
