In 1950 he graduated from the Moscow City Art Studio for Disabled Persons of the Patriotic War of the Department of Arts of the Moscow City Executive Committee. He studied with famous artists - K. Yuon, I. Gurvich, B. and G. Smirnov, G. Ryazhsky, I. Rubanov. During the Second World War he fought on the 2nd Baltic Front and was the commander of a submachine gunner squad. He had military awards. Since 1954 he has participated in exhibitions. In 1958 he was accepted as a member of MOSSKh. He went on numerous creative trips to Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan), Altai and the Far East. Awarded diplomas and certificates from the Moscow Union of Artists of the RSFSR, and the MGO KhF of the RSFSR. Works are in private collections in Russia and abroad.
