Schedule. Author of easel engravings, book illustrations, bookplates, headpieces, initial letters. He studied at the Art School in Moscow (1903 - 1909), graduated from a sculpture workshop. He studied since 1909 in the graphic workshop of S.S. Golousheva. He taught at the typesetting, printing and book printing department of the graphic faculty of VKHUTEMAS (1921 – 1930). He stood at the origins of Soviet printing art.
