Plakhotny Petr Alekseevich

Plakhotny Petr Alekseevich (1908 – 1963).

Painter, graphic artist. He studied at the painting department of the All-Russian Academy of Arts in Leningrad (1930–1938) under I.I. Brodsky. The training took place at the Faculty of Painting, and he was awarded the title of Artist of Painting. Thesis “Kirov sending the Bolsheviks to underground work in Baku.” Stylistically close to the Leningrad association “Circle of Artists”. He worked in Omsk, and from the mid-1940s - in Moscow. He taught at the Omsk Art School since 1937, and in 1946 at the Moscow Art School in Memory of 1905. Died in Moscow in 1963.
