Pogodaev Sergey Mikhailovich

Born in 1957 in Leninogorsk (Kazakh SSR). In 1976 he graduated from the Novoaltaysk Art School, in 1989 - from the art and graphic department of the Novosibirsk State Pedagogical Institute. Currently works at the Altai Academy of Culture and Art. Member of the Union of Artists of Russia since 1993. The author's works are stored in the Zmeinogorsk Mining Museum, in the Rubtsovsk Art Gallery, and in private collections in Russia, the CIS countries, Germany and the USA. Main exhibitions: 1981 - Personal exhibition, St. Petersburg; Regional art exhibition dedicated to the 60th anniversary of V.M. Shukshina. 1990 — Exhibition of works by Russian artists House of Creativity “Academic Dacha”. 1991 — Regional exhibition “Siberia”, Krasnoyarsk. 1992 - Regional exhibition “Slavs - history, culture, modernity”, Barnaul; Exhibition of Altai artists, Dallas (USA). 1993 - Regional art conceptual exhibition “The Artist’s View”, Barnaul. 2000 - Regional exhibition “Christianity is 2000 years old”, Barnaul. 2006 - Exhibition of Altai artists, Ulaanbaatar (Mongolia), Beijing (China).
