Prokofiev Dmitry Dmitrievich (1874 – 1944).

Born in St. Petersburg. He was a free student of the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts. After the revolution, from 1919 he lived in Berlin. Brother of the artist Nikolai Dmitrievich Prokofiev. Famous animal painter, master of hunting scenes. His paintings are in the collections of European and Russian museums.
